This week has been so good! We had exchanges with the elders from Krawse, and me and Elder Sivertsen went to my area. All of our plans and back up plans had fallen through, so we decided to do some contacting and we were knocking doors down one street and decided to move to the next one over, and literally the first house we knock on a young lady walked out and asked us if the hermanas from downtown centro had sent us. We were a little confused who she was talking about and told her that we were guided to her house. She was a little lost because about a month ago the missionaries in downtown San Juan had taught her in her friends house and she gave them her address but they never came by, and then randomly we showed up that day. She was super excited because we told her it wasn’t a coincidence and that it was because God wanted her to hear this message. She told us she knew that was true, and invited us in. Unfortunately she was by herself and she was sad because she had gotten so excited to listen but we wouldn’t be able to teach her. So we asked her if we could come by with a member, she agreed and went running to the house of a member that is never home, but we went anyways, hoping he would be there, and miraculously he was. He came to the lesson and we taught Yenhy (jenny) and her mom, they believed what we taught them, and Yenhy even said the closing prayer to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet!
Unfortunately, Fabricio and the Villalonga family couldn’t come to church this week because they had to go to their grandmas but we taught Fabricio and the whole family and he is super excited to get baptized, He and Lorna talked about how they need to get married and how he needs to be baptized to live in accordance with God, because in a year they want to be married in the temple! Sadly i might not be here for his baptism because they have to get married first and lorna has to do paperwork that’ll take two weeks, and then we have transfers, but no matter what happens i know its for the best. I love this family so much because i have seen them take little steps that have helped them get closer to our Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve them and my Heavenly Father. I love you all so much!
