I am doing great, update on the mission: we had elder soares from the presidency of the 70 come to the mission with elder texeira of the 70 come and it was so great! They talked alot about how we as missionaries have a lot of affect on how others react, if we walk around sad without a smile on our face, that no body will want to listen to this message, but how we should always be happy because it really is happy news that we are carrying!

This week has been great, okay it has been hard to be honest, but at the same time incredibly rewarding. This week we were able to go out alot more with members to visit our investigators and we were so excited to have them accompany us. In comp study my companion and i talked a lot about our desires as missionaries and our faith, and how we have to literally desire that these people find eternal life, we said a prayer for strength, and hit the pavement, and we began to visit the investigators, but no one was able to receive us, and some even began to drop us, and it continued like that throughout the week, it was sad, and frustrating, because me and my companion were doing all we could, we felt spiritually uplifted, but the results werent adding up, when it came to the end of the week we had had a member with us each day we were able to work, but had only been able to teach one lesson, it was getting late saturday night, and we only had twenty minutes left before we had to leave to the church, and I remember saying a simple and sincere prayer. Immediately my mind went to elders quorum the week before, we had talked about a scripture to ponderize and we had decided to go with Alma 58:40 “But behold, they have received many wounds; nevertheless they stand fast in that liberty wherewith God has made them free; and they are strict to remember the Lord their God from day to day; yea, they do observe to keep his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments continually; and their faith is strong in the prophecies concerning that which is to come.” I love this scripture because it starts out talking about how these young men had many wounds, what they had to go through was not easy, nevertheless they held onto the firm assurance that God had made them free. And when i thought about that scripture I realized, that it really is true this work never has and never will be easy, and like all of the examples of old and all of the examples we see today, we have to keep holding on, we have to keep pushing through, because this truly is salvation we are talking about! So with only a few more minutes to go, Elder Muñoz and I knocked one more door, and a lady named marcelina answered the door, and immediately we started testifying on the door step, the spirit was strong and she let us in, and she is someone who has definitely been prepared by the Lord, she loved  the first lesson, and asked us to come by again. She told us not too long ago she was praying to be put on the right path, and I know that the Lord not only answered her parayer that day, but also mine, I love this work and am so blessed to be able to serve and protect the name of my savior Jesus Christ! I love you all so much and invite you to pick and truly ponderize a scripture this week! It works wonders! I love you all so much!
With all my heart,
Elder Justin Lototoa Wilson
